Dina, thanks for the like 🙂 So interesting to read of a place I had never heard of and believe me I am a bit green with envy when I see those pictures. Warsaw is grey and drab in comparison (well white at the moment with all the snow) However a growing trend in modernisation of architecture and attitudes should help this country along the right road – I hope?
thank you for commeting on my post:) i belive that the pepole of greece will never let down the tru beauty of this contry:) Greece will always be a place of beauty, love, courage and hope… And us the pepole will make Greece survive! I hope you will visit us some time:)
Dina – your photos tell a lovely story of a beautiful place. The photos I especially like are the quirky one of the suspended bicycle and the brilliantly coloured orange amongst the dark foliage. Thanks for checking out my blog with a ‘like’.
Did you really? 🙂 That’s so nice to learn!!! Do you remember where you stayed? I know it is a long time ago, but it was not much in Parga at the time:) And my husbands hotel was one of the first big hotels of the area:) So maybe you even stayed there:)
Sincerly Dina
In a tent I think! Or maybe we were in a pension. Certainly nothing as grand as a hotel.I was a student. We didn’t have much money. it was very quiet. At night a few people would gather to dance near the beach.
It sounds amazing 🙂 Every Greek always tells me that you should have seen how beautiful Parga was in that time 🙂 The Greeks really enjoyed every aspect of life at the time… and it was very simple and lovely…
Wow what a magic place you live in, amazing photos and thanks for your like on my blog.
I hope one day i will make it to your area and see it for myself.
and I am now following your wonderful images.
Cheers Callie from Australia
You make me want to visit this place, it’s beautiful. I love the picture with the orange centered in the shot and the pictures over the water. Thanks for sharing.

These postcard-pretty pictures makes me want to add Greece to my bucket list. Being from a tropical country, I like to explore colder countries. How’s the climate there? Its average year round temperature?
I’ve always wondered why most houses in Greece are white–as seen in most pictures. You know why this preference?
Thanks for checking out Notes from a Hilltop Cottage.

The climate here in Greece is great 🙂 It has all the seasons 🙂 from snow to hot summer nights 🙂
About the white houses, of what I know these are some laws that each island has… like Mykonos everything is supposes to be white 🙂
And then some other city’s has the option to paint there houses in just a few colours! Like Corfu…
And then you have Parga that has all the options available to them, so it is like a rainbow of houses here 🙂
I really hope you putt Greece on your bucket list! You will never want to leave 🙂 Like me:):)

I really like what you’ve done with the thmeme but I was asking myself if you are the one that created it or you just bought it and customized it?
